Powers says the console version is not being hidden

The argument before the 19 March 2026 launch focused on reviews: the embargo lifts only on 18 March. Some players decided Pearl Abyss was hiding the consoles and showing only PC footage.

Will Powers replied that the studio is not hiding anything and had already said more information would come out before release, so a preorder would not be a blind decision. He asked people not to conclude while the team was still finishing the work.

A Digital Foundry look at the PC version, covering performance, detail and ray tracing, cooled part of the criticism. Questions about the consoles were still open when he answered.
