Powers: after 2.0 the patches get rarer, effort goes to the DLC
In an IGN interview after Opening Night Live, Will Powers said the number 2.0 was not chosen by accident: players are getting the most complete experience of the base Crimson Desert. Previous patches had already expanded Pywel a great deal.
Updates, he says, will still ship, but the scale and the frequency will not stay what they were. Resources are deliberately moving to the story expansion. The large DLC is still planned for the end of 2026. He did not name its contents.
This is a change in the pace of free patches, not a statement that support is being shut.
