Patch 1.4.0 adds New Game++ to Control Resonant

On 1 October 2026 Remedy shipped patch 1.4.0 for Control Resonant. The update the studio had pointed to this week arrived the same day.

The headline addition is New Game++. The campaign can be started over and over, and Dylan’s abilities carry into every new run instead of resetting.

The patch also clears a large set of bugs and adjusts the interface and parts of combat so a run feels smoother. Control’s post on X
