At IGN Fan Fest, the orc Ungka was called a philosopher

At IGN Fan Fest 2026 the three Crimson Desert voices talked about the roles. Alec Newman plays Kliff MacDuff, Rebecca Hanssen plays the warrior Damiana, and Stuart Scudamore plays Ungka, an orc with a huge axe.

Scudamore described Ungka as a nomadic fighter loyal to a just cause, his tribe and the Greymane company. The hard part was not the battle cries. The character often answers with a growl, and each line needed its own level of that sound. The actor called him mostly a philosopher orc.

Launch remains 19 March 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
