Panther Lake integrated graphics hold Cyberpunk 2077 near 81 frames
At CES 2026 Intel showed Panther Lake, and Cyberpunk 2077 was again the yardstick for integrated graphics. Early Core Ultra 3 numbers put the game near 81 frames per second, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider above 70.
A separate PC World look used the Core Ultra X9 388H with Arc B390 graphics. On low settings with XeSS, Cyberpunk 2077 also averaged 81 frames. Ryzen AI 9 chips in the same comparison stayed at 58. In Tomb Raider at maximum 1080p settings the Intel integrated core held about 75 frames.
Laptops with an RTX 3060 or RTX 4050 are still faster. The point is that an iGPU got close to entry discrete cards in a heavy RPG. These are early figures, with new AMD and Snapdragon graphics still to be compared.
In a multithreaded test the Core Ultra 3 205 was also 48% ahead of the Core i3-14100. For Night City the practical result is simpler: a playable frame rate no longer requires a low-end dedicated card.
