Drift Attack is open on Shimanoyama Circuit in Forza Horizon 6
Forza Horizon 6 now has a dedicated drift mode called Drift Attack. It works like the existing Time Attack: you start it in the open world by driving through the gates, with no extra load and no lobby wait.
The venue is Shimanoyama Circuit. Lap points follow the same idea as Horizon Drift and Drift Zones, with an extra layer of clipping zones along the track. Drifting inside those boundaries adds a bonus. Leaderboards are shared with Time Attack, and the mode joins the Horizon festival campaign after you earn the yellow wristband. The Drift Attack journal pays out a race suit and helmet in that style, plus a new 1990 Jaguar XJ-S Forza Edition. The standard XJ-S is in the autoshow and can be bought at any time.
The mode arrived with playlist season five, British Automotive, which runs until 8 October. Ten cars are on offer, three of them new to the Horizon series: the 2019 Ginetta G40 Junior for 20 summer points, the 2021 McLaren 620R for 40 summer points, the 2015 Jaguar XKR-S GT for 20 autumn points, the 2021 MINI John Cooper Works GP for 40 autumn points, the 2006 Vauxhall Astra VXR for 20 winter points, the 2016 Bentley Bentayga for 40 winter points, the 2002 Lotus Esprit V8 for 20 spring points, the 2023 Lotus Emira for 40 spring points, the 2025 Bentley Continental GT Speed for 80 points across the whole season, and the 2019 Aston Martin Valhalla Concept Car for 160 points across the whole season.
Playground Games has already named the next series Horizon Meets. It is set to add a temporary prop in the spirit of a Japanese 7-Eleven, more EventLab content, and cars that have not been in Horizon before.
