The DLC preorder is closed in some regions, and the studio gave no country list

Charting the Unknown is unavailable in some regions, and preorders there are being closed. Pearl Abyss did not name the countries in the published message. An unconfirmed account names the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

The official reason is a review of the contents and age-rating requirements. A preorder already placed in the affected regions may be refunded automatically or through the platform’s ordinary refund. The studio did not say which content failed the check.

Players guess at romance scenes: in the trailer Kliff stands with flowers in front of a woman. There is no confirmation of that account. The release in the note is 16 October 2026 in Asia and the late evening of 15 October in Europe and North America. Preorders opened on 3 September on the PlayStation Store, Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Microsoft Store.
