Talia Young became the face of the new season within hours

After the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 teaser, the conversation quickly narrowed to Talia Young, a character tied to Maelstrom. Within hours Reddit and X filled with art, jokes, and edits. She is already being called the universe's new favorite.

A few days earlier CD Projekt Red, Trigger, and Netflix had shown the new cast and confirmed that season two is a standalone run of 10 episodes. On 29 June the teaser put Talia, Roman Karax, D, and Wick Kingsley on screen together for the first time. The premiere remains autumn 2026.

By the description, Talia grew up in a corporate setting, then landed in Maelstrom and became a violent figure fixed on the gang's implants. The design and the first frames worked before a single episode had aired.

The season has not been shown in full, and one character has already outrun the announcement for attention.
