Xbox disc copies of E-Day can now be converted to digital

Microsoft added Gears of War: E-Day to its Disc-to-Digital program. Owners of a physical Xbox copy can already trade the disc for a digital license and set up their profile before launch.

The Coalition opens Premium Edition early access on 1 October, so the conversion matters now: standard and collector discs can be activated before the servers let players in.

The full release is 6 October on PC and Xbox Series. The program is aimed first at Series X and Series S consoles that have no disc drive.
