GTA V sales pass 230 million copies

Take-Two's latest financial report puts Grand Theft Auto V above 230 million copies sold. That is five million more than the previous report. Demand has not cooled even with an extended look at the next game coming up.

Red Dead Redemption 2 moved in the same period from 85 million to more than 87 million copies. In the United States the western ranks third in sales, and at this pace the gap behind it can still widen.

Grand Theft Auto VI stays on the date already given: 19 November for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. Rockstar has an extended trailer set for 27 August, more than a year after the second one.
