GTA Online pays a million dollars for logging in

Rockstar has started a short official giveaway in GTA Online: 1,000,000 in-game dollars arrive on their own, with no missions and no special event to finish. Anyone who simply logs into the online mode from 6 through 12 August gets the payout.

The same week raises other rewards. Super Yacht Life jobs pay double GTA$, and selected community missions pay triple. The bonus spends like any other cash — vehicles, property, weapons and the rest of the catalog.

The promotion lands while people wait for Grand Theft Auto VI, which is due in November. Almost nothing has been said about that game's multiplayer, so Rockstar is still feeding the current online mode with short events.
