Early GTA Online footage from a PS3 dev kit surfaces

A user named justac0d3r has posted material from an early PlayStation 3 version of GTA Online. He says the footage comes from a restored build on a developer kit he owns. A follow-up describes the files as 2012–2013 captures from a single Rockstar PS3 kit: a debug menu is on screen, and so is a check of the online mode.

The archive is dated 23 August 2026. The same material also carries traces of Agent, the cancelled stealth action game, including an "Agent Rockstar" label, plus a logo that reads "GTA 4 JIMMY." A separate clip appeared the same day that viewers took for a strip club and a gas station from the future sixth game. Nobody has confirmed that the two posts are actually connected.

For the fifth game the point is different. This is not new gameplay. It is a rough cut of the online mode from before the 2013 launch, recorded on internal hardware rather than a retail console.
