Hello Kitty Island Adventure sold over 500,000 copies in a month on Switch and PC

On 12 March 2025 Sunblink said Hello Kitty Island Adventure had sold more than 500,000 copies. The studio counted about 30 days from the Nintendo Switch and PC launch on 30 January.

Before that wider release the game had lived on Apple Arcade since 28 July 2023. PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions were penciled in for 2025. A physical Deluxe edition for Switch was scheduled for 25 March, with preorders already open on Amazon.

Sunblink frames the game as a cozy adventure: cooking, decorating the island, quests, puzzles, and time with Sanrio characters. Multiplayer lets friends help build the island.
