A Silksong player spends a fourth week on the Savage Beastfly under Reddit’s rules

Since Hollow Knight: Silksong launched in September 2025, plenty of players have already walked every corner of Pharloom. Some are waiting on expansions. Others want a trial harsher than Steel Soul. On Reddit, one of those experiments had reached day 28 by 12 February 2026.

SuddenlySpoons has been stuck on the Savage Beastfly for a fourth week. A normal fight is mostly reaction: Hornet has to slip the diving attacks. Here the room writes the rules. Once a day people suggest a single change, the winning vote stays forever, and by this point the arena no longer looks like the fight players know.

On day 24 he was told to clear a Bilewater run before every attempt, a long trek through one of the most exhausting areas. On top of that came a DVD-style bouncing logo, clips from around the internet, and random clutter that hides the boss. On day 27 the Savage Beastfly gained a shield of smaller beastflies that comes back. The day before this report, the thread eased off once and allowed Hornet to regain health every three seconds. The player says that pause is what carried the run to day 28. Day 30 is close, and the tone of the thread suggests the boss is not yet the limit of what they may pile on.
