Silksong gets a book, Sonata de seda, and boxed copies of the duology

On 7 October 2026, the Spanish publisher GTM Ediciones, which makes books about games, announced Sonata de seda, or Silk Sonata. It is a book sequel about Hollow Knight: Silksong. The note went out on X.

The volume continues El Libro Hueco, The Hollow Book, by Roberto Barragán Pineda. That first book came out in 2021, became one of the publisher’s main bestsellers, and went through several reprints.

Alongside it, Meridiem Games is preparing physical editions of the Hollow Knight duology for 16 October 2026. PlayStation 5 is set to get full copies of the first game and Silksong with every expansion already released. Nintendo Switch 2 gets both parts, at a higher resolution and frame rate. On Xbox Series X and Series S, the disc carries only Silksong.
