A leak puts boxed Silksong in the US on 16 October 2026

On 28 May 2026, the insider billbil-kun posted a breakdown of a physical Hollow Knight: Silksong release. In that note, the boxed edition in the United States is set for 16 October 2026. Team Cherry has not confirmed the details. There is no Europe date, and no word on when a proper announcement would land.

The platform list is Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One. The Switch 2 version is described as compatible with the original Switch. Fangamer, which handled boxes of the first Hollow Knight, is named as the distributor. The Switch 2 edition includes a cartridge, a separate enhancement for the new console, a 32-page booklet, and a fold-out map of Pharloom. The price given is $44.99.

Boxes for PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One are listed at $39.99. The same report mentions another reissue for Switch 2 and PS5 at $34.99: a disc or cartridge, a 28-page manual, and a map of Hallownest. That is the first game’s kingdom, and it should stay separate from the Silksong set until the studio lays out the line itself.
