inZOI 0.9.0 opens high schools, clubs, and prom

On 19 June Krafton shipped update 0.9.0 and rebuilt teenage life. Interactive high schools opened in three cities. Young Zoi sit science, art, and PE, take hard tests on Thursdays, pick up warnings for weak grades, and can be expelled.

After class there are clubs for programming, cooking, cheerleading, and fitness. Some of them ask for a skill before they let you in. The year ends with prom: love notes in lockers, an invitation to a slow dance, and a vote for the school king and queen.

A new job is a clothing shop, where outfits for the floor are dressed onto mannequins. At the hair salon a client can demand the whole fee back if the cut is a miss, and hair color stays put when the style changes. Build mode gained 115 school objects. The furniture catalog can be sorted by room and by what the character is doing.

The traits «Ветреность» and «Однолюб» — fickle and devoted — make a couple fragile. If an affair comes out, the romance bar drops at once, the other partner makes a scene, and the one at fault is left with hard conversations. Crashes and heavy impacts now use ragdoll, so drivers and pedestrians react to the hit.

Fan clothes come in through CLO Connect and can be downloaded or uploaded without closing the game. ModKit gained MetaHuman assets: beards, eyelashes, and eyebrows. PC players can try the whole set now.
