A Kingdom Come: Reddit trademark was filed two days after Salvation

On 25 July 2026 two applications for Kingdom Come: Reddit landed at the EUIPO, two days after Salvation and a day after the first write-ups of that mark. The lawyers match the ones Warhorse usually uses, but the representative ID is different. Both filings cover classes 009 and 041, with small differences in the online-services wording.

A real partnership with Reddit is a weak fit. Social networks are not in the classes, and deals at the scale of Plaion or Embracer usually go through the parent companies. The Latin verb reddo, "to give back," does not help much either: the filing uses the English spelling Reddit, which is easy to confuse with the website.

A joke is the cleaner reading. Salvation reached the front page of Reddit almost immediately, and the new mark may be a wink at people mining the register. A forged filing is also possible. The EU office does not tightly check who the applicant is, and a fake is later refused or cancelled. The studio and its publishers had not commented, and the applications were still under review.
