A fan is photographing Bohemia beside the map of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
Reddit user cgmarius is driving the real places Warhorse used for Kuttenberg and Sasau in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. He is building a site that puts an in-game view next to a photograph of the same spot.
He has shot more than 200 panoramas on a 360-degree camera and then matched the angles in photo mode. On some blends the giveaway is a parked car. Kutná Hora, the town behind Kuttenberg, is nearly done at about 165 locations. He has already visited the named Sasau sites, but those panoramas are still unprocessed — another 70 to 100 points. Trosky castle was skipped because of the weather, and he hopes to go back the same summer.
Kutná Hora already runs tours for people who played the sequel, and a GPS quest starts at the Sedlec Ossuary. During an earlier Steam sale Warhorse sent one dollar from each copy of the first Kingdom Come toward restoring Pirkstein castle, Henry's home in the game, and raised more than $65,000.
The site still has no name. He will not put Kingdom Come or KCD in the title. It is meant to stay free and without ads. Warhorse has noticed the project and said it would be shown to the team. He is collecting name ideas on Reddit.
