Luke Dale says playing Capon in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II did not bring new game roles

Luke Dale, who plays Jan Ptáček in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, told the Firezide Chat podcast that the hit release did not bring offers from other studios. He had expected a lead role in a game with an audience of millions to open doors. It did not.

He sets Warhorse apart from the rest of the business. The studio, he said, backed him the whole way. His complaint is about the industry: big teams keep cutting staff, and generative tools are taking over bit-part voices.

With no game roles coming in, Dale turned to streaming. Capon's face helped him build an audience. At the time of the interview he had more than 72,000 Twitch followers and 177,000 YouTube subscribers.
