PEAK’s last big update is set for 11 August

On 7 August 2026 the PEAK team set the date for its last large patch. The co-op climb receives it on Tuesday, 11 August. The developers thanked players for the support and said the final challenge was ready to be shown.

The main addition is a pair of rotating biomes, Gloom and The Citadel. They take turns replacing the familiar Caldera and The Kiln, so the late part of the mountain does not repeat from run to run. A full change list was promised on release day.

For PEAK this looks more like the close of the main map than another stop along the way. Until 11 August, what that last climb actually contains is still the open question.
