Patch 43.1 adds kicks and a Jujutsu Kaisen look on Erangel

Patch 43.1 for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS reached every platform on 12 September 2026. The final notes had been posted on 9 September. Two changes lead the build: a kick in melee, and an Erangel dressing drawn from Jujutsu Kaisen.

The map gained a gift box with a Satoru Gojo statue and its own effect, a warehouse in the style of the series, plus themed care packages and some of the surrounding props.

The kick works in every mode. It hurts more than a punch and shoves the target farther, so it can interrupt an action or push someone off you. Unarmed, you kick in place with the right mouse button, or LT on consoles. The same input mid-jump kicks in the air. The binding can be changed.

A kick smashes windows, wooden doors and fences, cans, and tires. Doors that are too large or too solid stay up, but one kick still swings them open. Kicking a vending machine spills it faster and then shuts it down for a while. Swimming and diving are 25% quicker, and players on the surface can fire pistols and throw balls.
