Red, Majima, and Arle are coming to CrossWorlds for free

On 17 March 2026 Sega mapped the next free wave for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. Guests from several series were promised across the following months.

April was set for Red from Angry Birds and Goro Majima from Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, with the vehicles Super Roaster and Goromaru. May’s slot was Arle from Puyo Puyo and the vehicle Twinkle Bayoen.

The same plan was going to put eight tracks into the jukebox from older Sega games, among them Out Run, Daytona USA, and SEGA Rally 2. In mid-March the racer was on sale for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. By then it was already public that sales had fallen short of the internal plan.
