Players fault the Brand New Day suit colors in Marvel's Spider-Man 2

For the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Insomniac added the film's Peter Parker suit to Marvel's Spider-Man 2 in a free update. The patch drew complaints instead of praise.

The main argument is the color. Players say the in-game suit leans orange, while the film's red is darker. They point back to the Advanced Suit in the first Marvel's Spider-Man, which was also criticized for its color grade. Insomniac later changed that look in the sequel.

Color is not the only gap. The textures do not match the screen version, the damage marks are missing, and some players read the collaboration as rushed. Official promo art sat much closer to the film. In the released build, fans say it looks more like a variant of the classic suit.

Insomniac had not responded. Players hope a later patch will correct the suit, as the studio has done with other costumes taken from the films.
