Hibi breaks down the podracers in STAR WARS: Galactic Racer

The latest Under the Hood with Hibi is entirely about podracers. For Fuse Games, a studio founded by Burnout veterans, that machine is one of the project's main draws. A long stretch of time has passed since Episode I: Racer, and the pod is back on a track.

Hibi, the Ardennian engineer and Shade's mechanic, hosts the film and explains how a pod is set up for a race where the stakes are high and a mistake leaves almost no room to recover. The machine builds speed very quickly, but staying ahead means learning the air brakes and the boost. Anyone who does not want that temperament can take the steadier landspeeder instead.

The film landed shortly before launch. STAR WARS: Galactic Racer arrives on 6 October for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC. Episode 4: Podracers.
