Twierdza Ryżowiec brings the Valley of Mines into Stronghold Crusader

On 20 January 2026 Polish modders set a date for the free mod Twierdza Ryżowiec: it was due on 25 January. The modification is built for Stronghold Crusader and recasts the siege missions in the world of Gothic.

There are four story campaigns. They follow the Valley of Mines and events from the first Gothic: familiar heroes and places show up in the missions, the original score plays, and the spoken lines are taken from that game’s voice track.

Alongside the longer chains, the package includes standalone battle scenarios. Heroes and factions from the same universe take the field. The mod itself costs nothing.
