Cassel, English, and Darski join the Valor Mortis cast

A little over two weeks before launch, One More Level posted the Valor Mortis voice cast. James Alexander plays William Dowsett, Vincent Cassel plays Napoleon Bonaparte, and Jennifer English plays The Shrike. English is already known as Shadowheart in Baldur's Gate III and as Maelle in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Until this announcement, Cassel was the only name confirmed in public. Jennifer English and Adam "Nergal" Darski stayed unannounced until the final reveal. Earlier in the summer English had stepped away from the lead of the action RPG Tides of Annihilation because of her health, so taking The Shrike reads as a quick return.

The rest of the billed cast: Adam "Nergal" Darski as Captain Raphael; Mars Lipowski as Lucjan Skawiński; Will de Renzy-Martin as James Stewart; Yvan Chamoiseau as Louis Moreau.

Valor Mortis launches on 13 October 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and it is on Game Pass from day one. The studio posted the cast sheet on X.
