An Elden Ring demake booted on a real PlayStation

A creator named 2009aero showed an Elden Ring demake that runs on an original PlayStation, not through a fake old-console filter. He posted gameplay and separately confirmed that it boots on the real hardware, without an emulator.

The unexpected foundation was Minecraft. He had already brought that sandbox to the first PlayStation and learned the machine's limits along the way. That engine became the base of the new experiment, with the picture styled after PSX-era games. The models are crude, but enemies, places, and the overall silhouette of Elden Ring are still recognizable.

The 1994 console is described here by its ceilings: a processor around 34 MHz, 2 MB of RAM, and 1 MB of video memory. Modern Elden Ring targets machines thousands of times more powerful, so the fact of a picture on this hardware is the story.

2009aero did not publish the source code. There is footage to watch. This report does not include a download.
