The Russian Phantom Liberty dub needs 3 million rubles

GamesVoice opened a fundraiser for a Russian dub of Phantom Liberty. The budget is 3,002,077 rubles. The studio calls the dub one of its top priorities and confirms that key actors from the original game are involved. Progress is supposed to be shown on social media.

The authors say they are not breaking the fan-content rules that CD Projekt Red has also discussed in public. The fallback is blunt: if the project has to close for reasons outside their control, the money goes to a dub of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Phantom Liberty came out in 2023 and remains the only major story beyond base Cyberpunk 2077. The expansion is highly rated, and it has no official Russian dub.

The fundraiser started the day after the announcement. Three million rubles sets the scale of a full recording, not a hobby read-through.
