Tristin Mays's father walked in on the Panam scene

On 21 January, during a Twitch stream, actress Tristin Mays reached the bed scene between Panam and male V. At that moment her father walked in with a plate of food and joked, "Is that you?" Her mother looked in soon after to say good night.

Mays, known from MacGyver, had been playing Cyberpunk 2077 for weeks. Viewers have long treated her look as a reference for Panam. CD Projekt Red has not denied that and has even promoted her streams of the game.

The clip spread quickly. For Mays it was an awkward, ordinary broadcast accident: a scene can be planned, a family visit cannot.

The story rests on a frame and a door lining up, not on a new studio statement about who modeled the nomad.
