EDGE scores Black Flag Resynced an 8 in issue 427

Scores from EDGE issue 427 surfaced on ResetEra before the magazine itself. The Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced remake landed in an 8/10 group with Splatoon Raiders and Denshattack!. The magazine treated that trio as the most fully realized games of their genres in the roundup.

The high mark in the same issue is the co-op adventure Big Walk, at 9 out of 10. EDGE, which does not hand out that score often, pointed to how players interact and to the feel of exploring. Palworld received 5 out of 10: sales did not move the review, and the magazine called the play secondary.

The role-playing game Veritas Tales stayed at 7. The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, D-topia, Culdcept Begins and Helix: Descent N' Ascent shared 6s. EDGE's reviewers were not pulled in by any of the four.
