Patch 1.1.12 fixes ability and engraving bugs in Shadows
Ubisoft closed the fix list with patch 1.1.12 for Assassin's Creed Shadows. On the main platforms the update was set for 28 July at 14:00 UTC. On Nintendo Switch 2 it was set for 30 July at the same hour. There is no new story chapter.
In Domains, Naoe's Grab and Throw break armor again while the Find the Gap modifier is active. Adrenaline Drain and Ability Lockdown no longer show up as a pair: together they made fights harsher than intended. The Momochi Sandayu boss fight now ends on a death animation. A stuck state in the first Domain with the Speedrun modifier is fixed. The Fading Perfection engraving removes 20% of Naoe's health, as designed, rather than 99%.
Yasuke's Meca Mask is audible again in a Black Tides cutscene. Peasant Hat shows its boosted value instead of the base 6%. Assassination perk text no longer sticks on a starting figure such as "+1". Conditional perks on enhanced gear receive their intended 50% boost. Kunai, shuriken, and the Ice Shard effect from Shiver of the Mountain Armor no longer ignore armor while Find the Gap is active.
After patch 1.1.11, engravings from some trinkets vanished, including Masakado's Vengeance. They can be moved onto other items again. Separate quest fixes cover Claws of Awaji, Buried Secrets, and Black Tides: Tsuyu and the grappling hook, Rufino disappearing, the fight with Eamon, headgear in the epilogue, and wanted posters at the hideout.
The notes are on Steam.
