The physical PS5 edition of Dune: Awakening arrives 22 September

On 3 July 2026 it was announced that Dune: Awakening will have a physical edition for PlayStation 5. The disc goes on sale on 22 September, alongside the console version, through retail in Europe, North and South America, Australia, and New Zealand.

A boxed release is uncommon for a large online game: most projects of this kind stay digital. The publishers still kept the disc and brought in partners to handle the shipping.

Japan is expected in October. The publisher for that market will be named later.

The disc includes a small in-game bonus: Muad’Dib’s terrarium and a decorative paint called Sunset. Both can be placed in a base.
