Console Dune: Awakening has gone gold for 22 September

On 6 August 2026 Funcom said the console version of Dune: Awakening had reached gold and was still set for 22 September on PS5 and Xbox Series.

On the game’s official Xbox Series X account, the studio wrote that the gold build was ready and that on 22 September the sands of Arrakis would meet the Sleepers on consoles.

The game is an open-world survival title built around exploration, crafting, and story. The Bene Gesserit send the player to learn why the Fremen vanished from Arrakis. The road runs through Arrakeen and the Hagga Basin, and the people along it include Duke Leto Atreides and Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen.
