Dune: Awakening is on consoles, and Filmic Archive is on sale

On 22 September 2026 Funcom released Dune: Awakening on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. It is an open-world survival game drawn from Frank Herbert’s novel Dune and from Denis Villeneuve’s films, produced by Legendary Entertainment.

The same day, the Filmic Archive add-on went on sale on every platform at $9.99. It dresses the character, the gear, and the base in a look the studio compares to the Imperium. The set includes the Caladan Stormcoat, worn by Duke Leto and Paul in Dune: Part One, and the armor Aegis of an Unwalked Path, based on Paul Atreides’s visions of Fremen warriors in Dune: Part Two. It also adds 73 Sardaukar-style building pieces, new decorations, weapons, and emotes.

The console launch arrived with a large update that also landed on PC. Consoles include everything the computer version gained since last year’s release. That list covers a full solo mode with all of the content and features, deep options from gathering speed to death penalties and experience pace, extra hours of story that close the first part of the plot, and a batch of performance and gameplay fixes.
