The E-Day soundtrack is on streaming services: 18 tracks, about an hour
The original Gears of War: E-Day soundtrack is on streaming services, including Spotify and Apple Music. The album has 18 pieces and runs about 60 minutes. It includes the title theme Emergence, plus Interitus, Void, and Ruins.
Adam Lastiwka wrote the score. He previously worked on Gears 5: Hivebusters. He described the record as an acoustic barrage of violence and terror. Drummer Luke Holland plays on the combat track Command and Control.
Unlike earlier, more orchestral entries, the prequel leans on horror and hard industrial electronics. The story is the first hours of the Locust invasion, and that palette sits closer to the panic of a younger Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago.
