Xbox and The Coalition released the E-Day launch trailer

Xbox Game Studios and The Coalition released a launch trailer for Gears of War: E-Day. Premium Edition and the Premium upgrade are already playable: those editions include a five-day head start.

Everyone else gets the shooter on 6 October, on Xbox Series X|S and on PC through Steam and the Microsoft Store. It joins Xbox Game Pass the same day.

The story is set 14 years before the first game. The subtitle points to Emergence Day, when the Locust Horde leaves its underground home, reaches the surface of Sera, and pushes humanity to the edge.

Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago are already veterans of the Pendulum Wars, but this is the first time they face an enemy like this.
