Take-Two says it will keep supporting GTA Online after GTA VI

At a shareholder meeting Take-Two said two things at once. The company describes Grand Theft Auto VI as a single-player game due in November this year. Separately, it said GTA Online will keep being supported after the sixth game launches, and beyond that.

The console date is still 19 November 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Rockstar has not said when the PC version is coming. Take-Two also did not say what form the current online mode will take, or whether a successor is planned. The only commitment is that support does not stop on the day the new game launches.

GTA Online originally shipped alongside GTA V and later became its own product: you can enter the multiplayer without buying the story campaign. That already-separate game is the one the publisher says it will not drop.
