A gamescom deep dive shows three STAR WARS: Galactic Racer speeders

At the Future Games Show during gamescom 2026, Fuse Games co-founder Matt Webster walked through the machines in STAR WARS: Galactic Racer. Three speeders share a track at once, and each one wants a different line.

The landspeeder holds speed through a corner by drifting and boosting, with the throttle kept down. The speeder bike sits at the other extreme: fast and fragile. Braking into a turn stores energy for a kinetic burst on the way out. The skim speeder is new to Star Wars and was built with Lucasfilm Games. You roll it nearly onto its side and carve a very tight arc.

Webster described the campaign as a run where choices cost something, rather than a track you clear once. The studio pointed to an October release. The gamescom deep dive.
