The Galactic Racer skim speeder holds its speed with a Knife Edge turn

Fuse Games has put out a new film on the skim speeder, the fastest of the three repulsor classes in STAR WARS: Galactic Racer. It is the slowest of the three to get moving. Once it is up to speed, it passes the others on a long stretch and keeps that pace.

The signature move is Knife Edge: the craft leans almost onto its side and takes a shorter line through the corner without giving much speed away. That is why it is treated as the most technical class. There is no single perfect line for every machine. Each one comes alive on a different path, so a race is less about following one groove.

Hibi, Shade's Ardennian mechanic, hosts the film. Launch is 6 October on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5, with a roguelike campaign, arcade modes, vehicle tuning, and online races. Episode 3: Skim Speeders.
