GamesVoice called the Phantom Liberty dub non-commercial

GamesVoice answered CD Projekt Red with a manifesto. The team says it will release a professional Russian dub of Phantom Liberty as a non-commercial PC modification, and that the project runs on voluntary donations.

The rights holder had already repeated that there was no permission, that commercial use of fan content is not approved, and that this has been the line since the 2023 approach. GamesVoice is still raising more than 3 million rubles and says it has the key original actors, including the voices of V and Johnny Silverhand.

The localizers themselves call the status a gray area. If the effort is shut down, they still promise to move the money to a Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas dub.

The manifesto does not cancel CD Projekt's statement. It records how GamesVoice wants the fundraiser to be read: donations for a mod, not a sale of someone else's game.
